Pontiac Soil Management Club, which is comprised of 75-80 members, has an immediate opening for an agronomist/advisor. The successful candidate will work as part of a team, working on behalf of its members to provide agro-environmental services and information, under the supervision of the Board of Directors. The adviser, among other tasks, will have to produce agroenvironmental fertilization plans and organize training and information sessions.
- Bachelor’s degree in soil, plant or environmental agronomy;
- Member of the Ordre des agronomes du Québec, or in the process of becoming a member;
- Self-starter, able to work with a minimum of supervision, good at simplifying, with a good knowledge of the Windows environment and certain fertilization software.
- Ability to communicate in English is essential, however a good working knowledge of French is an asset.
